If you want to pursue a music career, you must commit to working seriously and consistently. To stand out from others, focus entirely on your musical journey.

Choosing Your Path

Start by selecting your music genre and two stage roles. Your primary role will contribute around 80% to your success, while the secondary role adds about 20%. Each role requires specific skills, and you must first achieve 4 stars in its basic ability before advancing.

Instrumentalists: For example, to play electric guitar, you need Basic String Instruments before progressing to Electric Guitar.
Vocalists: Soloists, backing vocals, and rap all share the foundation of Basic Singing.
Dancers: Begin with Basic Dancing and then develop Professional Dancing.

Your chosen genre is one of the most critical elements of your career. Aim to reach 10 stars as quickly as possible. After each successful Kobe mission, you can increase your genre skill by 2 stars. Prioritize improving your own genre first.

Touring: Health and Mood

When touring, maintaining high health and morale is essential.

For health: Learn Basic Yoga + Yoga Mastery or Basic Martial Arts + Jujutsu Mastery. With 5 stars, you can gain 6–7 health points per gym session.
For mood: There are no direct skills, but shopping, fortune-telling, or celebrating special days can help. Be cautious—frequent shopping may lead to addiction, requiring psychiatric treatment to reduce.

Solo or Group?

Decide whether you will perform solo or as part of a group. Group members must share responsibilities; otherwise, one person may need to handle multiple roles.

Group Roles

Songwriter

Requires intelligence and music talent at 21.
Must learn Basic Poetry, Basic Composition, and at least one songwriting style (folk, march, catchy pop, etc.).
Focus on singles until your skills reach level 8.
Ensure your songs align with the instruments and stage roles in your group.
Aim for at least 10 new, high-quality songs plus one older track for encores.

Showman

Appearance must be at least 21.
Learn skills relevant to your genre and a closely related one.
Create 10 strong shows within these genres.
Multi-skill shows are easier to achieve high ratings in once your abilities are developed.
Prioritize genre-specific shows over general attractions.

Press Relations

Charisma must be 21.
Press conferences increase press support and slightly boost fame.
Best handled by the group leader with Mentorship Mastery.
Skills to develop: Basic Media Management, Public Speaking, Public Relations, and Mentorship.
Additional talents like sex appeal or comedy can attract more press interest.

Album Producer

Usually external. A good producer should have Basic Album Production and 10 stars in your genre.

Video Producer

Automatically chosen from the venue’s best director, or you can hire one.
Requires Basic Photography, Filmmaking, and 10 stars in your genre.

Group Size

Solo: Very challenging. Expect 8–9 months before reaching rankings.
Two Members: Easier workload—one handles shows, the other songwriting.
Three Members: Ideal balance. Two songwriters, one showman, plus someone for press relations.
More than Three: Not recommended. Larger groups are harder to manage, and weaker members can drag down performance.
